Dana Earl
Relief Society General Advisory Council Member
Dana Earl began serving as a member of the Relief Society General Advisory Council in August of 2022. She also has served as a stake Primary president, temple ordinance worker, ward Primary president, Primary teacher, nursery leader, Primary activity leader, Primary music leader, counselor in a ward Young Women presidency, ward Relief Society president and teacher, counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency, and full-time missionary in the England Coventry mission.
Sister Earl received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Utah State University.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Shirman S. Milliner and Mary Coleman Milliner. She is married to Robert Earl, and they have four children and five grandchildren. She lives in the Valley View 10th Ward, Salt Lake Valley View Stake, in Utah.
Emeobong “Eme” Martin
Relief Society General Advisory Council Member
Emeobong “Eme” Martin began serving as a member of the Relief Society Advisory Council for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in June of 2023. She also has served as stake Relief Society president, institute instructor, seminary teacher, counselor in a ward Young Women presidency, Primary teacher, temple ordinance worker, and full-time missionary in the Missouri St. Louis mission.
Sister Martin received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in public health from Saint Louis University. She works as the lead equity, diversity, and inclusion officer for a national non-profit organization focused on providing a firm foundation for infants and toddlers.
She was born in Takoma Park, Maryland, to Efremfon Frank Ekpo and Inyang Asuquo Ekpo. She is married to Christopher Martin. They live in the Derwood Ward, Seneca Maryland Stake.
Andrea McConkie
Relief Society General Advisory Council Member
Andrea McConkie began serving as a member of the Relief Society General Advisory Council in August of 2022. She also has served as a counselor in ward and stake Relief Society presidencies, Relief Society teacher, Primary teacher, ward Young Women president, counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, Sunday School teacher, and full-time missionary in the Canada Halifax mission.
Sister McConkie received a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from the University of Utah and works as director of operations for an insurance consulting company.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Richard K. Ence and Marla Tingey Ence. She is married to the late Stephen L. McConkie Jr., and they have one child. She lives in the Valley View 5th Ward, Salt Lake Valley View Stake, in Utah.
Garna Mejia
Relief Society General Advisory Council Member
Garna Mejia began serving as a member of the Relief Society Advisory Council for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in June of 2023. She also has served as ward historian, linger longer committee co-chair, counselor in a branch Young Women’s presidency, Temple Preparation class teacher, temple ordinance worker, Relief Society teacher, and full-time missionary in the Canada Montreal Mission.
Sister Mejia received a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Southern Virginia University. She worked as a broadcast journalist throughout the United States and is now a global newsroom manager in the Church Communication Department.
She was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to Luis O. Mejia and Teresa Santillan Mejia. She lives in the Emigration Single Adult Ward, Salt Lake Emigration Stake in Utah.
Hannah Miller
Relief Society General Advisory Council Member
Hannah Miller began serving as a member of the Relief Society General Advisory Council in August of 2022. She also has served as a Relief Society teacher, ward Relief Society president, counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency, and Gospel Doctrine teacher.
Sister Miller received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in comparative studies (art history) from BYU. She works as an initiative specialist for the Temple Department of the Church.
She was born in Littleton, Colorado, to James A. Miller and Carol Ranzenberger Miller. She lives in the Wells Ward, Salt Lake Granite Stake, in Utah.
Sharlene Miner
Relief Society General Advisory Council Member
Sharlene Miner began serving as a member of the Relief Society General Advisory Council in August of 2022. She also has served as a musical missionary and singer in The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and as a pianist, organist, ward choir director, ward Relief Society president, counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency, counselor in a ward Primary presidency, Primary activity leader, Gospel Doctrine teacher, counselor in stake Primary and Relief Society presidencies, and full-time missionary in the Japan Kobe mission.
Sister Miner received a bachelor’s degree in music education from Brigham Young University and a medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. She works as an emergency physician.
She was born in Boise, Idaho, to Gerald E. Adamson and Nancy Belliston Adamson. She is married to Gary L. Miner, and they have five children. She lives in the Meadows 6th Ward, Draper Utah Meadows Stake.
Carolee Scowcroft

Carolee Scowcroft began serving as a member of the Relief Society General Advisory Council in August of 2022. She also has served as a counselor in a stake Primary presidency, Relief Society teacher, ward Relief Society and Primary president, counselor in ward Relief Society and Young Women presidencies, Primary teacher, Primary music leader, nursery leader, Primary activity leader, Sunday School teacher, and stake public affairs committee member.
Sister Scowcroft received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Marilyn Jackson Clawson and Truman F. Clawson. She is married to the late John A. Scowcroft, and they have five children. She lives in the Neff’s Canyon Ward, Salt Lake Mount Olympus Stake, in Utah.
Mitzi Semo
Relief Society General Advisory Council Member
Mitzi Semo began serving as a member of the Relief Society General Advisory Council in August of 2022. She also has served as a family history consultant, stake Young Women president, counselor in ward Young Women and Primary presidencies, camp director and adviser, ward Primary president and teacher, ward pianist, and full-time missionary in the Paraguay Asuncion mission.
Sister Semo received an associate’s degree in liberal arts from Brigham Young University–Hawaii and a bachelor’s degree in business management from BYU–Idaho. She works as a service manager at BYU.
She was born in San Francisco, California, to Tauivi M. Tuinei and Sylvia Meyers Tuinei. She is married to Mickey Semo, and they have four children and seven grandchildren. She lives in the Orem 12th Ward (Samoan), Provo Utah 1st Stake (Tongan).
Sandra Singer

Sandra Singer began serving as a member of the Relief Society General Advisory Council in August of 2022. She also has served as the communication director for the Middle East/Africa North Area and as a stake Young Women president, ward Relief Society and Primary president, temple ordinance worker, Sunday School teacher, ward music leader, Primary teacher and music leader, and full-time missionary in the Korea Seoul mission.
Sister Singer received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University.
She was born in Palo Alto, California, to Thomas W. Mackay and Rosemary Tyler Mackay. She is married to Jeffrey H. Singer, and they have seven children and four grandchildren. She lives in the North Field 3rd Ward, Pleasant Grove Utah North Field Stake.
Elaine Thornton
Relief Society General Advisory Council Member
Elaine Thornton began serving as a member of the Relief Society General Advisory Council in August of 2022. She has also served as a stake Young Adult specialist; temple ordinance worker; counselor in ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary presidencies; ward Young Women president; and inner-city missionary in Salt Lake City.
Sister Thornton studied at Columbia Basin College and is the owner of a general contractor/design firm.
She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to William B. Featherston and Frances Jones Featherston. She is married to Erin Thornton, and they have three children. She lives in the Emigration Canyon Ward, Salt Lake Monument Park Stake, in Utah.
