No, [solidcore] is not Pilates, but it is a strength-training workout that uses a Pilates-inspired reformer. So, what makes [solidcore] different? One of the fundamental principles of Pilates is an emphasis on deep breathing, whereas [solidcore] predominantly focuses on heightening resistance, and stimulating each muscle with slow and controlled movements to trigger slow-twitch muscle fibers. By focusing on continuous time under tension, muscular endurance and strength is increased.

[solidcore] works by overloading and breaking down type 1 or slow-twitch muscle fibers. Slow-twitch muscle fibers are fatigue-resistant, and used for activities that require endurance. By progressively increasing resistance over time on our Pilates-inspired reformer, muscles gradually become stronger. Each strength-training exercise is designed to be twice as effective as traditional workouts. This unique methodology produces long, lean, sculpted muscles, and strength in both mind and body.

Consistency is key! Whether you can accommodate 1 class per week or 3 classes per week, the best way to get results is by consistently showing up each week. Our workout is designed to work your muscles to second stage muscle failure, so recovery is important. The amount of time your body needs to recover depends on your personal fitness level and nutrition. One of our coaches at a [solidcore] near you can speak with you about the membership options that will work best for your lifestyle, and help you become the [strongest] version of yourself.

Each person’s body will respond differently. Typically, individuals that attend class multiple times a week will feel stronger and notice changes within 30 days. Ultimately, if you want to see results you’ll have to put in the work! Consistency is vital.

Our workout is done barefoot and grip socks are optional. Shoes are not permitted on machines. Please bring a non-glass water bottle to stay hydrated; glass is not permitted in the studio for safety reasons. We have water fountains and bottled water available for purchase, as well. We recommend you bring a towel if you sweat since it’s an intense workout!

You can change or cancel your class up to 10 hours before the class starts without penalty. If you cancel or no-show within the 10-hour block or arrive 5 or more minutes late for class, the penalty depends on how you booked the class:

  • if you booked using a package or 4-, 8-, or 12- class/mo series to book, you will lose the class
  • if you booked using an unlimited option, you will be charged a late cancellation fee.

We are unable to provide refunds for late cancellations.

To Cancel a Reservation:

Sign into your account
Go to “My Info” > “My Schedule”
Click “Cancel” next to the class you wish to cancel

Yes, you may. For your safety, if you’re 5 minutes late to class, you will not be able to access the studio or join class. It’s important to arrive on time for your safety to ensure your muscles are properly warmed up and so that you receive a balanced workout. This also minimizes distractions for clients already in class.

Yes! Single credits, including express and coach-in-training classes, expire after 30 days. 5-packs have an expiration of 45 days and 10-packs expire after 90 days. The New Client Buy-1-Get-1 package has an expiration of 14 days. Credits activate on the day of purchase and the expiration date can be found in your emailed receipt.

Yes, you can sign-up for the waitlist up to 10 hours before the class. In the [solidcore] app, a class with a waitlist will say “waitlist” instead of “book”. Click “waitlist” to add yourself. If a spot opens up more than 10 hours in advance, you’ll be automatically enrolled and will receive a confirmation email. If you do not make it off the waitlist, the class will go into your account for future use.

IMPORTANT: By putting yourself on the waitlist, you acknowledge that you will be able to take the class if you get in. If you do not want the spot, you need to remove yourself from the waitlist 10 hours in advance from the start time of class. Canceling a waitlisted class less than 10 hours in advance counts as a late cancellation and clients who do so will be penalized accordingly.

To Check on Your Waitlist Status:

Sign into your account
Go to “My Info” > “My Schedule”
It will say “Waitlist Unconfirmed” if you got into the class
If you can’t remember what classes you waitlisted for, click on the word “Waitlist” on the top right in “My Schedule”

If you choose to double book classes, note that if you do not attend one of the classes, your credit will still be subject to our late cancellation policy.
